the h22 should be faster than the b18c5 due to much more torque, but it is not as easy a swap.

i think the best overall swap in a civic is a b18c....they can be had for as little as $2500, are a straight bolt in, and are considerably faster than a b16a. The disappointing fact of a b16 is the 90-95 ft/lb of torque that is available at the wheels.
