I will not pretend to know everything, but I do have some thoughts I'd like to share.

1. France has a large, and growing, number of Muslims in their country. It does sway public opinion, kind of like how we have a large group of Jews in our society. However, France also had a 60 billion dollar contract to rebuild the southern oil fields in Iraq. A deal that will be worth squat when we topple Saddam's regime.

2. Iraq has ties to terrorist. This is a fact. Does/Did he have ties to bin Laden? I don't know. When you consider that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, does it matter which terrorist group he supports/finances/harbors? No, the only thing that matters is making sure nothing like September 11th happens again. Consider this, North Korea has weapons of mass destruction, do we care? No... because they aren't going to hand them over to a group of terrorist intent on bringing down our way of life.

3. Are we in the wrong for invading Iraq without the UN's support? That’s a moral question, make your own opinion. What I think is ironic is its the UN's regulations we are enforcing.

4. I believe we are Iraq's number one buyer of crude oil. However I'm pretty sure Iraq is not our number one seller. I don't think they are even in the top ten. I'm not 100% sure on this one though, and I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong if I am wrong. However, we do know that oil is not an unlimited natural resource. Should someone who sets their own oil fields on fire be allowed to possess such a rare commodity?

5. If you could go back in time and stop Hitler before the Holocaust, would you? If you don't think Hitler and Hussein have anything in common, you should read up on what he does to the Kurds.
