i used a flathead to pry, but be careful not to mess up ur paint...and pull it straight out cuz those tabs and get broken and stuck in there....
If they do get stuck and for some reason you can't figure out how to remove them, just dab a little grease (or some slightly sticky substance) onto the head of a nail or something, and it'll pull those little pieces right out.
