If you like the 5th gen sedan or coupe then go with one of those. Don't let other peoples opinions sway your decisions. Although I believe the EX's are the only ones with power options, manual windows and locks are a hassle. 
though, if you go for quickness, you'll want the lightest version (which would be the one with the least amount of options). i personally would rather have power everything (including moonroof) than be lighter. but that's just me i think.
