Hello,

Our white 2002 accord coupe v6 seems to have 2 different shades of white, the car is a nice brite white and the front and rear end caps seem to be a darker off-white. We bought the car new just prior to the 03 coming out. We've seen a few other white accords with the same problem. Is there any service bullitens or has anyone had this problem addressed by their dealer?

Thanks
You'll see this with a lot of light colored cars...all makes and models. Esp with silver and champagne colors.

The reason is because the front and rear bumper covers are plastic, while the rest of the car is sheetmetal.

The different material, combined with the added adhesions in the paint on the bumpers causes a different shade.

Can't really do anything about it. If it REALLY bad, go ahead and take it to the dealer and see what they say.
