First of all, welcome to HAN!

I thought that the 6-speed was only going to available in limited quantities for the first year. (I had originally planned to wait for the '04s.) So I was wondering if the "limited supply" is because of the limits on the numbers of 6-speeds that can be produced, or is it because most V6 Accord buyers can't or don't want to shift a manual transmission?
I think the 2nd theory is more likely the reason. How many people would actually buy a manual Accord? It is already hard to find a 4 cylinder with a manual at a Honda dealership.
Let's face it, most average drivers (which are not HAN members, I assure you

) want the convenience of an automatic. And most average Accord drivers prefer automatics over sticks. I really wish AHM offered a 6-speed in the V6 Sedan but I really don't think it will sell well.
One thing is for sure, my next new car WILL be a manual! No more this automagic bullshit! Haha!

Isn't this the same 6-speed manual transmission as on the CL Type S? How are they selling?
They aren't quiet the same. The CL-S has a LSD, while the Accord doesn't have it. I really really wish Honda offered it on the V6 because every magazine test drove the 6-speed CL-S and they all loved how the car handle! Oh well...one step at a time.
Like the others have already stated, the CL isn't selling well. Rumor has that AHM is thinking about killing it in the near future.
