i bought a vavle cover gasket, spark plug gaskets (o-rings), and liquid gasket from a local dealer for about 30$, which is a rip off. you can probably find it online for half that price.

the job itself is pretty simple. just unscrew the valve cover, scrape off old liquid gasket, and replace with the new stuff. the liquid gasket goes on the eight corners of the valve cover gasket where it bends for the camshaft.
