I'm new to this forum and and I figured this is the best place to get good advice. I just bought my car about 3 months ago with about 69,000 miles. I was hoping someone could offer me any advice they have on increasing the power of the engine since I don't really know much about cars or if i should even bother. I pretty much got a ricer right now: dropped 1.5" with the Type II wings west kit and an K&N air filter. At the moment, I'm looking at a greedy evo exhaust system and dc headers. I don't know what's best for my non v-tec engine: 4-1 one piece, 4-2-1 one piece, or 4-2-1 two piece. Ceramic, chrome, or stainless steel? Or should I stay away from DC headers entirely. Can anyone recommend good cams and pulleys too? Like I said, I have no idea about anything. I just want decent performance out of this engine without turbocharging it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated esp. if the evo exhaust sounds like a deep solid lawnmover.
