ok stop right there. the tranny mount won't line up. therefore the motor isn't an easy swap. a couple shops are rumored to be making custom brackets, but i only heard of ppl making their own.

1. depends on which year for the cost, average $1500-3000; but by law you must get a '99-01 Prelude motor&tranny.
2. lowest price i've seen for tranny swap labor alone is $500, parts for floor console & clutch equip varies.
3. 0-60mph = mid 7s, high 14s in 1/4 mile times

a turbo kit will be easier & cheaper. or find a '97-01 Prelude 5spd, best advice i heard is if you wanted the motor, then just buy the right car.
