I have heard this on forums, BUT have never actually heard from someone that actually had the rear kit that theirs broke. I have an ingalls rear kit and have had NO problems so far! And that is with whipping the e-brake on pavment a few times, Hard cornering (sliding at 80mph & such) and two jumps, one w/ all 4 tires off the ground and one with just the rear 2 tires off the ground. so mine have taken some abuse.
Before I had the ingalls, I had washers in the rear with somewhere around 6-8 washers on EACH bolt! the shop put that many on. that was with only a 1.5" drop in the rear, so with a 3" drop you probably wouldn't get enough camber adjustment. I was alot easier on the bolts/washers then I am on the ingalls kit.
hope that helps
