It is actually a screwdriver inside a nut driver. One handle goes up for the screwdriver, and another handle goes sideways for the nut driver. You just set it on the bolt, turn the bottom handle, adjust with the top, then tighten back up.





Honestly, if you expect to be doing valve adjustments on any sort of regular basis, (IE: owning Hondas for a long time) it is so worth it. Cut 10-15 minutes off of the time required.


Off topic there's a guy at the local dealership who handles all the adjustments... once he's got the valve cover off he can do a DOHC VTEC engine in under 10 minutes. I'm like :wtf:
