you said you were going to REinstall your stock stuff....so im assuming that you you have aftermarket shocks and springs right now...let me draw a pic...

on the left is the shock and the rod...on the top of the rod where the threads are is where i am assuming you are having the trouble. on my KYB shocks...where the threads are on the rod, there are 2 flat edges. thats where i put the open end wrench. then with the other wrench i undo the nut.
