that was when i'd have to go without a car for 1 month...now we've decided to do it in stages where i'd only have to give up the car for 2 weeks (1 week prep and measure, then when all parts are jet coated, etc 1 week for testing and tuning)...later in the summer bring it in again for the intercooler/ems setup and that'll take 3 weeks

you can run a turbo without intercooler but you must make sure the boost is low 1-4 psi...when you compress air it gets hot leading to detonation of the gasoline which is bad...an intercooler cools the charged air allowing the turbo to run higher amounts of boost

Dorikin: using an intercooler is a very, very wise addition to any forced induced engine...we will run with low boost for a couple months to work out the tuning and develop a better ems solution when we get the intercooler setup and run much higher amounts of boost...this is just temporary (any kit that will be sold will include an intercooler)...the normal eaton/roots type jackson racing supercharger kits do not have an intercooler as they also run low boost and the compressed air doesn't hurt

we will run a cai type setup to get cooler air and the turbo is a ceramic ball bearing application meaning at such low boost and pressure it will not hurt the turbo
