rebuild it and put high performance parts in it such as crower cams/valve springs/retainers/valves. as for block get it bored and put in high performance pistons/rods/bearings and mabey even a stroker kit. it will be worth it cuz after u do that u can put turbo or n2o or whatever u want , the engine will be able to handle it
