It is probably cheaper to rebuild the b18c1. Just make sure the block itself is ok. Normally it is cheaper to just get a whole used engine, but the gsr engine is kinda expensive. You might be able to find a good deal though.

For the price of a new b18c1, you could probably rebuild your old one with aftermarket internals and make it put down a decent amount of power.
