I will eventually be turbocharging my '92 GSR. First of course I will make sure the Teg can handle the extra power by upgrading the suspension and whatnot. Anywho, the stock tranny in my GSR has 157k on it now and grinds in third. I did some searching here and saw that the Type R tranny may be my best choice. I want to get one with the LSD (or maybe all USDM have LSD?). Would the Type-R tranny be my best bet? I'm only going to be running 7-8 pounds of boost, nothing astronomical. I realize that the top speed won't be as high, but I personally don't plan on going 140 MPH anyway. So what should I do: rebuild current GSR tranny and add on an aftermarket LSD, or buy a new type-r tranny with LSD? Keep in mind this is my daily driver. Thanks!
