This is a stroker kit: http://www.crower.com/cat/import/honda/stroker.shtml

From what I remember, it's a bad idea. Look at the rod/stroke ratio (search r/s ratio). Stock GSR has a stroke of 87.2mm and a rod length of 137.9 mm. Therefore, 1.58 r/s ratio, right. Now, the Crower stroker kit is using 92 & 95 mm stroke cranks. They aren't using a deck plate, so we're limited by the deck height. Therefore the rods MUST be shorter, forcing a r/s ratio of 1.36 & 1.45 respectively (correct me if my math is off on this). This is the exact opposite of what we want. Sure, we've got more displacement and torque, but we've sacrificed revs and reliability. Any thoughts on this?

I'm of the opinion that LS/VTEC is also a bad idea for some very good reasons. But opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one. Do a search... come to your own conclusion.
