Motor Trend is the most unreliable of any car mag. Their drivers and editors are very out of tune to what real car buffs want to know. Not to mention, it's very painful for me to read their magazine because it's written at the level of a 5th grader. C&D and R&T read like an intense Steven King novel, while I swear Dr. Susse is the editor-in-chief of MT.
I agree. They throw their professionalism out the door with pictures of burnouts, using words that are "in-tune" with Gen-Xers (like dude, etc.) and they have more errors and spelling mistakes than I care to keep track of.
They don't evaluate cars well either. Sometimes for their low they put "Had to give car back to [manufacturer]." Give me a break. In the 10-years I've subscribed to Car & Driver, I have seen
one spelling error.
