Ummm flex pipe is a temporary solution it really doesn't hold up real well in the long run.
Your car has a flexpipe. It's that short section of woven metal pipe just before the cat and after the exhaust manifold sections. (the part I accidently drip a little oil on when I change my oil.
) Basically allows some flex in the exhaust system when the motor flexes on its mounts.
