this is what i've noticed on mine. It's a 98 gsr.
You have to give it gas to rev up to ~1000-1100rpms as you let out the clutch. For some reason, it's hard to keep the revs constant b/c as you let the clutch out, the rpms drop, but at the same time, the point in which the clutch engages is when the your feet is just about to come off the pedal. So there is a point where the rpms take a dive before going.
You just have to give it an increase in gas as you let the clutch out.
I've yet to master it.
