Word, I use this on my JDM-Type's. Keeps them looking nice and shiny. If this doesn't help, I read about asiandood (Civic guy) using a buffer and some rubbing compound I think. Might want to PM him.
There is glass cleaner that uses a buffer and it has a semi abrasive pad with cleaner. However I wouldn't recommend it for plastic. I have this glass cleaner. Its available at
