Just took out my resonator and installed my intake yesterday. Its pretty easy to take out. Just open up the wheel well on the right of the car and the box should be right there. Take out the two bolts and vola.

Checkout this site.. should be about the same for a 6 gen. And yes it does make ur car louder. :thumbup:
