you know how u can raise the needle a little bit, but it goes down againts the guage? well, when it is raised, the needle movement acts normal, as if it weren't snagged with the gauge.

however, i need something slick enough to raise the needle without having it snagged/getting stuck when it is in movement.

any ideas?
