that's not neccessarily true. i got mines installed at one, and i called alot of big name audio stores and they all did it, it just depends on the brand of alarm. of course, they would only install the ones that are ONLY SAFE. i know that compustar and clifford offer the remote start for the manuals. did i mention IDIOT proof? like, it won't start if you're in gear...................
