Well, I couldn't be happier this evening. I took my lovely car for a trip down to the races tonight. I waited and waited at the parking lot for everyone to show up and nobody came. I went to the next lot and there were massive cars. I raced 4 times and won all 4 times. I raced a 240, an echo, a corroda with a supercharger and something else, I couldn't remember. Anyways, they all beat me off the line because technically im still breaking in my clutch and I dont want to dump it or throw it in gear. Also, I still have that fuel problem and the throttle cable sticks still. I order that part so I should be installing it this tuesday. What I noticed after the races was that they always beat me in first gear and in second I caught up. There is something wrong with my first gear. Vtec doesn't seem to kick in the way it should in first. Anyways, now I raced a fellow crew member and he beat me by half a car. He has a full interior integra GSR with a vtec controller, dc headers, port polish, aem cold air intake, and exhaust. How he managed to beat me, I have no idea. We were even all the way till third and thats when I started to pull on him, but then in fourth, he was gone. Hmm... that port work did wonders for his top end.
So... My question for you is, what should I do next to my car. I am trying to stay away from top end mods because thats not what I want. I want bottom end like crazy. So, what should I do next. I am going to put a pvc intake on for now and find an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for my ride. Also, I am going to put that cable in soon so that will help. AFter that, I will have around 150 to spend on whatever. What should I invest in? I know its not much but just list some things that might help my bottom end. I am getting a job here soon as well and I will be purchasing some cams once I get the money.
What should I do next? What should be my next add on that will benefit me the most. Remember, I want it to be a bottom end torque beast! Also, I want it to stay N/A.
