I have a 5th gen EX with factory tweeters. When I upgraded the audio system I looked into using the existing stock location, but the Infinity Kappa tweeters I have would only fit as a surface mount there, and probably would have looked horrible. If you don't have stock tweeters, I would expect any installation in that area will involve disassembling the entire dashboard - the driver's side is particularly inaccessible. The general recommendation (check out the AUDIO & ELECTRONICS forum) for tweeters is to put them in the door panel. Here is a pic of my installation. It's fairly easy to do, and looks 'factory'.
