Same mods... EX runs faster.
How is this not a correct statement?

So, very similar mods on both cars and the ex still runs faster huh? I have to beg to differ assuming both drivers are equally competent, stick, and the run is from 0-80 mph.
Please note that my judgement is based on logical facts and not because I have 2 SI's.

This is their BEST E/t's. Both of them are good drivers. But I think traction is their main problems.
Each time they switched cars to get better times it resulted in a worse time.
On the street, with the SI dropping into 2nd gear first, the EX stays dead even with the SI, then Pulls away in third gear. SI's are geared very short.
I transfer this interesting discussion from kill stories to civic forum to get everyone's input. Shoot away...
