After doing all this, I have to say, it wasnt easy, LOL. I am car stupid so that kinda makes things worse. The hard part I think is removing the headlights from the car. Once theyre out its friggin' easy as sh*t. You put the oven on 300 degrees, pop one in for a good 15 seconds, take it out, and start prying it open. Not hard at all I dont think.
The BIGGEST pain in the a*s was the 2 bolts underneath the friggin' high beam. Damn did this PISS me off. My friggin' ratchet would barely reach them so that really pissed me off.
Blinkers were a pain in the ass because I didnt realize that they twisted in---I thought they were push bulbs like the wedge bulbs. Oh well, we all learn from our mistakes.
Couldnt find any white signals to match my Silverstar headlights, so I think I am just going to go with orange. Well see what happens.
Headlights look GREAT without that ugly a*s orange reflector strip---DAMN that thing was friggin' nasty looking. Makes the headlights look a lot more clean, etc. Looking forward to ordering red/clear taillights the week after next.
ay monstar, did you have to take off your bumper or no? and you only put it in the oven for 15 seconds, not minutes??? i'm confused...............i plan on doing it this weekend, get back at me, i need to know bro.
