1) the y1 and ys1 were the b series trannies that came with an optional lsd...it would have the stamp LSD on the bottom of the tranny...but overtime some people took advantage of such and removed the lsd and installed the normal open diff on the LSD stamped trannies...so the best way is to pull out the axles and look through the hole and see if you can see clear though (if you can't then its the open stock diff and you got ripped)

2) i'm not familiar with cdn hondas just that they get some cool stuff more often than we do
