Ok, I am pretty sure that I am going to give up on my current car (1988 Volkswagen Jetta), its on its third engine, and my uncle has had so many problems with it, I dont want him or me to loose any more money, so I am at the point of "**** it". I am just sick of that thing (so much wasted money!). I know that the Honda wont be much better (yes, it is the "abandoned one"), but I was thinking that maybe I could do something... like go through and take apart the engine and clean it all and then put it back in (with some new parts (hoses)), and it would get me around for a while? Or am I just dreaming a little bit too much. I dont even think that a car with that many miles (all of which I know nothing about) can really last that much longer, that is why I am reluctant to spend $500+ on a new engine (if I get the damn thing). Im thinking that I can use it until it breaks something major, and by then I will have gained some more money from work (part time sucks, high school sucks!), and hopefully it would last at least through the summer ($4 grand a summer, I would have about $8 grand to spend on a car...). Oh well, this has turned into a rather large rant, but oh well.
