and i would be his roommate.
the front seats fit three of the four stock holes to screw them in the only one that doesnt line up is the right rear of the driver seat and the left rear on the passenger seat. the rails on these two sides are about 2inches longer. all i did was drill a hole slightly smaller then the bolt that was to be used there and forced the bolt in and it stayed in tight for me.
now for the rear seat this will be kinda hard to describe so bare with me i would take pics but i would have to tear it all apart and it is snowing right now so sorry no pics
the main thing to do is keep all of the nuts and bolts and brackets attatched to the 6th gen rear upper seat. then you remove the 5th gen seats but save the rear carpet this does dirrectly "plug" into the 6th gen seats all but one spot but that one is hidden so it dont matter. once the seat is removed you will see a T bracket that was the pivot point of the rear seats. you need to cut off the pegs on this and drill them out. this is the tough part cause there are for places to cut so you can save this bracket because the 6th gen seats have pegs(bolts) that slide into this hole where as the 5th gen has holes for the pegs to slide in. when this peg is removed you need to drill out the part of the peg that was left in the whole due to that peg was welded in. now for the out side part. there is a loose bolt that is trapped in by the seat on the 6th gen seat you can either jbweld this to stay in place but leaving it loose will work just the same but those are what you use to hold in the outer parts of the seat.
as for the part your arse sits on i had to pull one from a coupe because the one from the hatch was ruined. but they both will work. the only problem with the coupe seat is that the front clips that hold it down dont line up but you cant tell at all.
now all you have to do is put them in it only took me about an hour to do the longest part was the cutting
any questions because you couldnt understand what i was saying contact me and i will try to do better.
