swap for same or rebuild?
So I've got a Prelude S now... I like it. I'd REALLY like to have a VTEC. I've been looking around here and most of them have quite high miles... 100k+. I want to use this as my daily driver so I want high reliability but performance as much as possible also.
I drive hard, when I'm alone in the car... most of my accelerations from stop reach redline. Basically... what I'm getting at... if I buy a 94 or 95 or 96 Prelude VTEC with 130k miles, would it be better (read: more reliable/more performace) to swap out a less used H22 from a swap shop(they say the engines have only about 30k miles on em)... or rebuild with all new internals and basically just use the same block with forged pistons, rods, valves, new springs etc etc?
Which would be cheaper vs which would be better (reliablity/performance)?
Thanks.
