I was going to point that out, but I opted not to. I mentioned four vehicles:

Tiburon: Everyone knocks the Tibby as a Ferrari knockoff, but I honestly see Supra when I look at the greenhouse, not Ferrari.
Now, the Tiburon has a unique front end. It's not ugly, it's fresh and new. Now, perhaps 456GT or Supra was used as a design basis, but they're both great looking cars in their own.

Elantra: I don't think this rips off any vehicles.

Optima: This is a mid-size car. To some people they all look the same. Welcome to ignorance. All vehicles have style, yet what is it that make some look lame and others sporty, I don't know. How was the Protege always labeled a bland compact car until Mazda freshenes the front (2001), makes a 130hp 2.0l standard, and adds a 5-door model. Suddenly it's sporty! If ever Civic came with fog-lights, a rear spoiler, and alloy wheels, everyone would probabily think it's sporty. I think the Optima was good looking. It may have had a grille reminescent of the pre-2001 Chevy Ventures, but everything about it was fresh (excluding the 'It's sooo trying to rip off the Sonata, look at the interior and the doors and the greenhouse' comments).

Sorento: We all know this vehicle has an uncanny semblance to the RX300. Intentional? Perhaps. I think Kia saw the RX (which is a unique design in some regards) and opted to copy it. I think they actually did a better job.
