"Upgrading" his MAP sensor will not have any effect on his fuel map. Adding an FPR does not necessitate a new MAP sensor. The only reason to swap MAP sensors is 1)if your existing MAP sensor is broken or 2)if you need a MAP sensor that can read more than 10-12 pounds of boost. If your friend is N/A, and his MAP sensor is functioning properly, there is no reason to get a new one. If he thinks it'll "increase the mapping for fuel and air", then let him get one, it won't hurt my feelings. It also won't yield any benefit.
