Legend_master: haha nice try.

FLAT_LINER: Most miles? In Florida there are alot of rednecks and 2 things they actually have intelligence in is Farming and Maintaining vehicles. This cow butcher who makes long trips has a 98 Ford 350 diesel with 800k miles. Believe it or not its the origional engine. That's the most I've seen with diesel. For gas I'd have to say 250k 1985 Chevrolet S10 although it's a V6. These are all numbers with well maintence on the origional engine with no added mods. I'm sure there are alot more numbers on the field but, if you want to have this war about what's better the import or the domestic then I'd answer with "It all depends on how well maintained one keeps their vehicle".

'94 Guinness Book of Records- The highest record mileage for an automobile with the original gasoline motor without an overhaul is 577,363 miles to 5 Jan 1993 by Don Champion's 1979 Cadillac Sedan de Ville.

That was back in 94 almost 10 years. Maybe it's been broken I don't know.
