Generally the aftermarket projector housings really suck, and I mean really. You'd be better off just putting his in the stock housing.
Here's 4300k hid in stock housings, these are OEM 6th gen housings with a hyper white fog bulb to kind of match the HID
here's the same setup with the saturation cranked up so you can see the light above the cutoff, there is a little but it's not bad
here's the exact same bulbs in aftermarket black housings, much much more yellow, horrid focal point and light all over the place. Also in this pic I have my stock H11 bulbs in the fogs, YELLOW...
this is what I'm putting the HID in now
this is aftermarket black housing being a donor for the 90mm projector, cut the low beam reflector, now I'm just having problems thinking of a way to make it look good when I put it together, but I think I have that problem solved
this is a pic, or philips D2S in the projectors I have, but this isn't mine, I'm not done yet, but I have all identical parts, down to the philips ultinons he used
here's the link to that guys page, he took the crap aftermarket projectors and retrofitted the hella 90mm projector for the wicked beam pattern.
