rates change drastically with location. for example, here in MA, full coverage: i pay $775-$825/year.. when i was in CT (still in college), i was paying double that, and it was under my father's name with me as a co-driver.

also, my record is clean. i'm 25 now, but i got this rate when i first moved to MA about 2.5 years ago.
