it MAY be illegal....

when i went to figth my nitrous kit ticket in court (and won) i did a LOT of research... this is ALL NJ BASED LAW...

there IS a statute about it beign illegal to transport compressed tanks that are NOT DOT approved in the car... you can carry ANY small (small being defined as something rediculous like less than 250lbs) compressed container (dive tanks, fire extinguishers, nitrous oxide bottles etc..) providing they carry a DOT number.. MOST do.. NOT all.. there IS an extra provision to that law that accounts for VERY smal things NOT needing a number (spray paint cans, spray cleaners..) so the size may matter a LOT... like if it were small enough MAYBE it would NOT need one BUT im just saying i would NOT make the blanket statement that ALL are legal in the car....
