on a standard run of the mill jack from pepboys/autozone and the like, the middle jack point isnt enough to raise up the front end for jackstands, unless the very lowest setting is fine. mine was a pain the ass, but i had to jack up the front end up from the front tow hook, then jack up the side from the side rear jackpoint, only then i was able to slide the jackstand at the desired height under the side front jackpoint.
