If you're getting a fire extinguisher just for the "damn, my 106hp DX is too dangerous to drive around in so I need one of these" effect, then fine, but otherwise its a waste of time, money, effort, and is more dangerous than not having one.
i was thinking about that, what happens if my car caught on fire, would i have guts to stick my bare fingers in the front in hopes to undo the hook? cause really its not like i can spray the engine through the grill cause its a fifth gen...

but then i guess its different if you smacked your car in an accident and anything can happen (just like in the movies) or something but i don't think cars explode right away when they catch fire especially with normal driving....... wouldn't that be funny. you're cruising along the interstate on a road trip and then all the sudden you see cars here and there e very hour or so just exploding and popping up like popcorn...
