I've tried jacking on the front portion and the jack never gets the car high enough to get the jackstands to clear. Same with jacking the rear tow hook

what kind of jack are you using?
and how low is your car?
even with the stock jack under the front jack point, and on some 4" high blocks, i could fit jackstands
now i use my craftsman jack and can hella fit underneath
