I was cruising through some websites, and I stumbled upon some weight figures for the teg............the LS weighs 2529 lbs, the type r weighs 2639 lbs, and the GS-R weighs 2765 lbs !! After reading this horrendous figure for the GS-R, I decided that my first project for mine will be some weight reduction. The wheels that I have weigh a little less than 13 lbs each, so that is a good start. Next, I will literally remove everything that does not NEED to be on there, while trying to maintain a stock appearance .
I dont know if any of you guys have dabbled with weight reduction at all, but basically I wanted to know if you guys knew of any parts on the GS-R ( starting with the jack and spare tire) that are of considerable weight AND can be removed ?
