This is an old thread thing. ANY drop over 1" will change the Camber of the car. You MUST get it aligned before you buy any kits to bring the Camber back in the range that the factory and machine call for. 4th gen preludes are very similar to my 5th gen as far as the rear goes.
You have 2 choices (IMO) for rear kits-Ingalls or Specialty Products-BOTH make a replacement for the anchor bolts for the upper control arms. Each company has different ranges of adjustment available. ALL 4th gen Preludes use the same kit as is found on the rear. There are replacement ball joints that are made to adjust as well and Specialty has a really good one for the 5th gen front or other gen's as listed in the catalog.
Go to
www.ingallseng.com and
www.specprod.com and take a look. You will find the correct parts listed. If not-call them. (I buy mine from Ultra Performance in Tucson-btw)
The technical side of this is that for each 1" of drop the Camber will go negative by ~0.8 degrees. If your Camber is supposed to be 0 degrees +/-1 degree and your drop is about 1.7-you will be out of the range. I know-that is why I have kits on all 4 corners.
Another thing-the Toe-in setting is very critical to tire wear. Make sure this is taken care of.
