did you say you're car IS already lowered....if not, 17's would look small.....id just go with 17's.....most people put 205/40/17 tires on them, but you can put a little bigger tire on instead, like a 215/45/17......they would be 10mm wider and like a 14mm+ taller sidewall and shouldnt come nearly as close to rubbing....just depends on what you like though....i hate the fendergap too, but i hate rubbing and cutting up my tires more....
