unless you're expecting to go fast and break hard, i don't really think you should worry yourself about the breaking distance too much. it might not be up to par with sports cars, but for a regular car, it's fine. i haven't had a problem with it so far, and it stops pretty well. no complaints from me; but then again, i just drive normally and don't tend to need the best breaks in the world. that's just me, though.
