I think I know what you are talking about. I work in a Toyota dealership and we have a new Hunter road force variation and wheel balancing machine, which is more than likely the same one they have. Anyway, if you are talking about what I'm thinking about, all that does is measure the rims high and low spots and the tires high and low spots and then tells you where to line them up for better tire balancing and a smoother ride.
