Hey there,
I have the same problem you do. I drive a 97 GS-R with 110k KM's. I just had my clutch replaced at 90,000k, along with the throwout bearing and had my flywheel machined (however im not sure if all of this was done, the shop turned out to be sort of shady)
Anyways, I experience EXACTLY the symptoms you do, and i really want to fix it as well..
On a side note, i get horrible grindy sounds out of my transmission, esp when gearing down.. not a real TAPPY grind like when you mis shift a gear, just more of a muffled hum sort of grind. I have to take it in and find out whats going on. Im going to try replacing my tranny and clutch fluids and see if i cant get my cylinders/etc tested. its very frustrating for me because its hard to get used to where the engagement points are.
It seems also (not sure if its the same for you) that it has a very gradual, normal engagement when its cold out, and as the car warms up, it gets alot 'stickier' -- where you let it out and the clutch will almost SHOVE itself out really quick, and cause me to jerk on launches.
Not sure if its related, but if i'm cruising in say, 2nd gear at about 3000rpm or so, (ie regular middle-3/4 the way through a gear) and i let my foot OFF the gas, just entirely... Instead of gradually easing down and decellerating like a normal car would, mine lurches.
Maybe between the two of us we can come up with something.
