What 1stGen said. Too much overlap. The one tech guy at Skunk2 says when he mocked up the cams on his test head, he could just get 3 sheets of paper to slide between the valves (about .009"). Racing industry standard for safety is that you just don't get the valves closer than .025", period. The deal is that with most cams, the first thing you do is tighten up the lobe separation by retarding the exhaust and advancing the intake, well, their cams are already ground this way, apparently too much. The word from a friend who is supposed to be in the know is that they have recently changed their cams because of these problems. I don't know if that is true or not though.

Honestly they should be great cams by looking at the numbers but you jest need to make sure you are safe in setting them up as their warranty and disclaimer sheet doesn't tell you how close they are as ground.
