I put a zc in my civic and now have a knocking noise when its cold, sounds to me like the gudgeon pin, maybe lower rod knock though, not sure its a little engine, hard to tell when u been messing with 350 chevy's and such forever, I'm thinking lower rod, sounds like mine is coming from next to the flywheel, when I put the zc in the civic it started and ran like shit till I cleared it up also and I also have a dent in the pan but haven't put my d15 one on yet cause it doesnt look too bad but I drove mine bout 3000km now and I just started noticing the knock a few days ago, hope the pan aint messing up oil to pickup flow... and hope u get yours figured out for cheap, I'm hoping to find a bad bearing in the bottom of the rod cause theres good ods of a cheap fix aslong as the crank journal isnt gualged or out or round. pray the crank and pistons are good!! I'll post what I find
