Hmm... Since this thread is back up top, I'll have to give me opinion about Kicker amps, atleast he ZR ones.
They're too big and too heavy compared to other mid-range quality amps. They get very hot as well. I used to have a couple ZR240's and a ZX460. I didn't like them at all for the reasons I stated above. 
YEAH..they are BIG and HEAVY..not very good for those people that want the lightest rides for racing purposes.
However, the amplifier is TOP NOTCH when it comes to POWER and DURABILITY + you get customizable Modules for your application which negates the use of an outboard crossover.
Just a thought!
